TJ’s in historical building in Media, PA
Drove a few hours to Media, PA, not too far from Philly. Very nice town, lots of people walking around, had a festive feel. I met a bunch of friends and went to eat at a brewery, and that’s when I saw the most interesting Trader Joe’s I’ve ever seen next door. It was in an old building, I could see a marker with historical information, but I was running a little late so I took this quick picture. Never went back to do a proper one. The building was built in 1907.
“The building was designed by famed Rose Valley architect William Price; the earliest occupants were the Cooper Rifles from Philadelphia. It was the departure point for soldiers in World War I, and the longest continuously used National Guard Armory in the state until the turn of the 21st century.”
Pretty neat!
Lots of pictures online better than mine.
